This research discusses the social media Twitter, which is first platform to search for latest information or news. backed up by large amount of news circulating on online portals, often sourced from Twitter. The purpose this literature review see how Twitter was chosen users as a place fulfill their needs. scope in mass communication circle using Uses & Gratifications Theory (UGT) explain why choose complement study uses an in-depth interview exploratory description method. Data collection journals previous carried out based context and cases where data are needed study. In addition, method interviews with four respondents who use Questions given structured manner. result that there new motivation people Twitter.
